OSM implements a Design Review Board (DRB) for all new customer quotations or product revisions. This process is critical as we strive to maintain quality and value.
Why do we feel our DRB is so critical? To enable flawless execution and optimal value to the customer, we must fully analyze all manufacturing requirements.
Our 4-Stage design review process includes:
STAGE 1: Pre-Screen
To ensure project is within OSM's core capabilities.
STAGE 2: Process Development
Address any potential issues (print, material, special processes, etc.),
create process router and quote
STAGE 3: Manufacture
To ensure all required documentation is assembled for production and quality control
STAGE 4: Post-Assessment
To compare estimate vs. actual and determine process improvements as needed.
